On 5 and 6 November 2019 LIFE GREENCHANGE participated in Rimini at the 24th edition of ECOMONDO, the most important fair on circular economy and green innovation in Europe, as active part in the event of the States General of the Green Economy 2019 – “Green New Deal and climate challenge: objectives and path to 2030”.

The work session entitled “The Green New Deal for the territory: the role of businesses to enhance agriculture and natural capital” has received the patronage of the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and has involved experts and companies in the debate on the role of the farmers for the natural capital protection and for the ecosystem services.

The LIFE GREENCHANGE partners illustrated the experience of the project, objectives and expected results of the Pact for Biodiversity and the Territory Custody Agreements, telling the importance of involving the agricultural enterprises involved for the enhancement of natural capital, in line with the framework of the new Common Agricultural Policy post-2020.
